Freddy Simon’s family values and patriotic service to his country are the foundation of the restaurant concept. ![]() ![]() The restaurant is named for Bill and Randy’s father, Freddy Simon, a 95-year-old World War II Veteran who lived in Wichita, Kansas. Freddy's was founded by restaurateur Scott Redler and two brothers, Bill (1955–2016) and Randy Simon, whose father, Freddy Simon (1925–2020) was the inspiration for the restaurant, and its namesake.
